Louth and Meath Wellbeing Maps
The Louth and Meath Wellbeing Maps were developed as part of CommUnity Connect Louth & Meath to help people discover all the great things happening in their local community that support positive mental health and wellbeing. These maps are by no means exhaustive, but highlight just some of the many activities, groups, places, and opportunities across the counties, making it easier to see what’s available right on your doorstep.
They are designed around the “5 Ways to Wellbeing“; Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Take Notice, and Give, which are proven to boost wellbeing and help people feel good and function well.
What the Wellbeing Maps Are For
The maps help you:
- Explore what’s already happening in your local area
- Find activities and groups that match your interests
- See opportunities to support your wellbeing in simple, everyday ways
- Identify ways to get involved, meet others, and feel part of your community
- Spot gaps or new ideas, especially if you’re part of a community group planning activities
They also support community groups using the “5 Ways to Wellbeing” approach when planning programmes, events, or new initiatives.
These activities not only support your mental health but also help build stronger, friendlier, and more connected communities.
