Submitting an Event or News Item to the CommUnity Connect Louth & Meath website

If you would like to promote an upcoming event, campaign, or wellbeing initiative through the CommUnity Connect Louth & Meath website, please review the criteria below and complete the event submission form provided.

Inclusion Criteria

To be considered for inclusion, your event should meet the following criteria:

The event is organised by one of the following:

  • Louth and Meath County Council
  • The HSE
  • A statutory service (e.g. Tusla)
  • A HSE-funded organisation with a relevant service level agreement (SLA)
  • A Connecting for Life partner organisation
  • A CYPSC partner organisation
  • An organisation listed on www.yourmentalhealth.ie (opens in a new tab)
  • Community groups in Louth and Meath registered with the PPN.

The event or initiative:

  • Supports Healthy Ireland's aim of improving the health and wellbeing of everyone living in Ireland
  • Has a clear 5 Ways to Wellbeing focus
  • Has a clear mental health or suicide prevention focus
  • Or has a broader wellbeing focus (e.g. community health)
  • Is accessible and relevant to local or national audiences

The information provided:

  • Aligns with good practice in mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention
  • Promotes inclusion and equality
  • Ideally reflects a collaborative or inter-agency approach
  • Is free to attend or access (exceptions: academic conferences or small booking fees)
What We Cannot Include

To keep our platform clear, focused and equitable, we are unable to promote:

  • Events run by for-profit organisations
  • Events that require an attendance fee (except where clearly justified and nominal)
  • Job advertisements
  • Research recruitment not relevant to Louth or Meath
  • Politically affiliated events
  • Fundraising activities

Note: Community Connect Louth & Meath reserves the right to decline listings that do not meet the criteria or that include high participation costs.
