The Resource Officer for Suicide Prevention is responsible for leading the local implementation of the national Connecting for Life suicide prevention strategy, with a focus on prevention, early intervention and postvention. The aid is to reduce the risk of suicide and to empower individuals, families and communities to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
